The People Behind PSI

Psychedelic Science Institute was founded by a multidisciplinary team of leaders in psychedelic medicine, mental health, and neuroscience, bringing together the expertise of the TRIP Center at Pacific Neuroscience Institute and the California Center for Psychedelic Therapy. With decades of combined experience, our team includes physicians, psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatric nurses, and other mental health professionals who are pioneering the research, development, and delivery of psychedelic-based treatments in Southern California.

Since 2018, we have refined safe, evidence-based approaches such as ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (with over 11,000 KAP sessions completed over 8 years). We have conducted multiple psychedelic clinical trials for complex mental health conditions, aimed at achieving FDA-approval for medicines such as psilocybin, MDMA and LSD. Grounded in science and shaped by diverse personal and professional backgrounds, we are honored to be at the forefront of this evolving field, supporting individuals, advancing the science and helping communities heal and thrive.
