About Divya
Divya Malhotra is the founder of Purple Pivot, a healthcare data and AI consultancy that helps providers, health tech companies, and clinical research organizations turn fragmented data into infrastructure they can run on. Trained first as a physician before moving into healthcare data, she brings a rare combination to the work: a clinician's grasp of care delivery and clinical workflows, paired with 15+ years building analytics practices, cloud platforms, and AI-enabled automation.
Divya specializes in unifying clinical, financial, and operational data into governed cloud platforms, and in helping organizations adopt AI on a foundation of sound data quality rather than hype. Her current work includes leading a multi-site clinical trial operations transformation for a mental health provider, where she is architecting an Azure data warehouse, integrating EMR and clinical trial systems, deploying AI agents for patient screening, and digitizing reporting and billing end to end.
Across her career she has built enterprise analytics and technology functions from scratch, scaled data and BI teams, and stood up data products and reporting platforms used by thousands of clinicians.
Before founding Purple Pivot, Divya held senior data and analytics leadership roles at Stamford Health, WebPT, Clinical Trial Media, and PwC's healthcare analytics practice.
She holds an MBBS (medical degree) from the University of Mysore, India and a dual MBA/MHA from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management.
