Kyrsten Cardenas is a healthcare operations leader with over a decade of experience building and scaling outpatient clinics across behavioral health, neurology, and oncology. She began her career in mental health in 2011, developing deep expertise in billing strategy, reimbursement optimization, and the operational foundations required to sustain high-quality, patient-centered care.

Her background includes leadership roles at UCLA Health and Providence, where she supported clinic expansions, multidisciplinary program development, infusion center operations, and the launch of innovative services including ketamine treatment and psychedelic clinical trials. She has led large-scale clinic relocations, facility design planning, workflow optimization, and provider recruitment, consistently aligning operational strategy with clinical excellence.
At PSI, Kyrsten leads end-to-end clinic launches and operational infrastructure development, including licensing, enterprise systems implementation, vendor strategy, and compliance. She is passionate about building scalable systems that expand access to innovative mental health treatments and support PSI’s mission to transform care for patients who have not found relief through traditional approaches.
