Meet Meet Jose Fregoso, MSN, PMHNP:
Jose is a registered nurse (95227267) and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (95028067) dedicated to mental, physical, and spiritual health. Jose’s healing journey began on the streets of Los Angeles, where he spent five years as an EMT responding to crises and witnessing the raw intersection of physical and emotional pain. In early 2019, he transitioned to critical care as an RN, first for a year in an ICU, then in LA County’s emergency department through the second wave of COVID‑19. It was during those relentless days, caring for survivors and bereaved families, that he discovered his deepest calling: mental health. After over a year on an inpatient psychiatry unit, Jose brought his clinical expertise and compassionate presence to an outpatient ketamine‑assisted psychotherapy clinic, where he has since guided hundreds of clients through profound, evidence‑based therapeutic journeys.
