Jamal Cameron, LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with extensive experience providing psychotherapy, clinical supervision, and organizational leadership across academic, non-profit, and healthcare settings. His work is grounded in trauma-informed care, integrative psychology, and psychedelic-assisted therapy. Jamal currently serves as a psychotherapist at the TRIP Clinic at the Psychedelic Science Institute, where he conducts clinical assessments and provides individual therapy as part of psychedelic-assisted treatment and research protocols. He is also the founder of The Ori Institute, offering mental health consultation, psychological testing, and advocacy services for individuals and organizations.

Previously, Jamal held leadership roles at the Homeless Children’s Network in San Francisco, CA and Helios Psychiatry in Woodside, CA, where he facilitated psychotherapy and ketamine-assisted therapy, led quality improvement initiatives, and supported organizational growth. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Access to Doorways, a non-profit dedicated to expanding BIPOC access to psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy.
Jamal earned his Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Western New England University. His clinical approach integrates evidence-based practice with a focus on compassion, equity, and empowerment.
