Meet Ava Trovato
Ava serves as a Clinical Research Coordinator and Medical Assistant at both the Hollywood and Santa Monica clinics. With a strong foundation in biological sciences and patient care, she contributes to study operations and participant engagement across ongoing trials. At PSI, Ava is motivated to support the expansion of access to emerging, evidence-based treatments for individuals navigating mental health conditions where traditional approaches have fallen short.
About Ava
Through her experience volunteering as a patient care assistant at Wexner Medical Center and working as a medical assistant in sports medicine and pain management clinics, Ava developed a firsthand understanding of the limitations of conventional treatment models for chronic pain and mental health conditions. These experiences shaped her interest in psychedelic research and her commitment to advancing innovative, patient-centered approaches to mental health care.
